Niagara Falls

Iguazu Falls
Iguazu Falls is located on the border between Argentina and Brazil. Iguazu spans approximately 2.7 kilometers in width and comprises 275 individual falls. The tallest drop is 82 meters at the iconic Devil’s Throat. Additionally, Iguazu National Park has more than 2000 plant species and a variety of wildlife, including toucans and coatis.

Victoria Falls is located on the border between Zambia & Zimbabwe and is also known as “The Smoke that Thunders” due to the mist around the falls. It is 1,708 meters wide and drops 108 meters below the Zambezi River. Interestingly, it offers Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park (Zambia) and Victoria Falls National Park (Zimbabwe).

Angel Falls
Angel Falls, is located in Canaima National Park, Venezuela. It is the world’s tallest and straight waterfall approximately 979 meters. Angel Fall was named after American aviator Jimmy Angel in the 1930s, who brought it to global attention, the fall dropped 807 meters from Auyan Tepui mountain—a facility for hiking and riverboat from the nearby town of Canaima.

Gullfoss
Gullfoss is located in Hvítá River Canyon, southwest Iceland, and is also known as “Golden Falls” due to the hue created when the sun interacts with the waterfall.
Gullfoss has two Tier cascades:
- Upper tier: The drop is approximately 11 meters.
- Lower tier: The drop is approximately 21 meters.
- Gullfoss is easily reachable from Reykjavik, making it a popular tourist attraction.
Additionally, it is a part of Golden Circle, a famous tourist route that includes:
- Geysir geothermal area.
- Thingvellir National Park.
Both Summer and winter give it another aura.
Havasu Falls
Havasu Falls is situated in Havasupai Reservation, Arizona, USA, in the Grand Canyon region. The waterfall has a 35-meter drop with a stunning turquoise watercolor due to rich minerals, especially calcium carbonate. Visiting Havasu Falls requires a permit which can be obtained through the Havasu tribe the reservation is done months in advance. The surrounding area includes Mooney Falls and Beaver Falls. The hike to Havasu Falls covers a distance of 10 miles one way and offers stunning views of the canyon.
